Do not hesitate to ask us about the best places to visit in Asturias; remember you are in paradise, and you can also become a guardian of it!

Cudillero

Cudillero is a small municipality located on the Central West Coast of Asturias that has an incredible landscape, with unique beaches, green valleys, rivers and waterfalls, vertiginous cliffs and half a mountain with “brañas vaqueiras”, old villages full of green fields and ancient shepherd’s huts.

In the municipality three are well differentiated cultures combined: the mariñana (fishermen and farmers located in the marina), the xalda (villagers of the inner valleys) and the vaqueira (discriminated shepherds who occupied the highest parts of the mountains).

The capital town has the same name as the municipality: Cudillero, a picturesque fishing village – declared a Historic-Artistic Site – where the mountain houses hang in bright colours.

Cudillero is an unforgettable town where the fishing environment is fully alive and where gastronomy and landscape combine to form a unique stamp.
